Lobby to the Tables

Tell us what changed at the door

If an opening hour has moved, a rule has changed or a route was harder than we described, one email puts it right for the next reader.

Things worth a message

  • A changed hour or rule. The casino floor now closes earlier, tables start later, the hotel has moved its check-in time, or the entry policy at the door is not the one we describe.
  • An access problem. A step we did not mention, a lift out of service, a door that would not open for a wheelchair, or a route from hotel to gaming room that does not match our page.
  • A data request. You want a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or your emails erased. The data notice explains what that covers.
  • Any other slip, down to a misspelt street name.

What helps us check it quickly

Name the hotel and the town, say what you saw and on which date, and tell us where the new information appears: a page on the venue's website, a printed notice, a word from the front desk. A photo of a notice in a public area is welcome; please leave out other guests and anything on the gaming floor, where photography is normally not allowed. Every report is compared with the venue's own published source before a page is changed, so a link to that source saves us a search.

A dispute with a venue belongs with the venue

If something went wrong during a stay or on the casino floor, such as a charge on the room bill, a card hold that lingered, a refused entry or a disagreement at the cash desk, raise it with the hotel or the casino first, through their own complaints process. Lobby to the Tables is an independent reference with no tie to any operator. It cannot settle a dispute with a casino or a hotel, or take up a case on your behalf. If the episode shows that something on our page is wrong, do tell us that part.
